Values & Feedback

My Values

The way I work matters as much as the work itself. These values guide how I relate to the people I see, how I practise, and how I hold myself accountable.

Ethics & Values

My practice is rooted in Transactional Analysis, which starts from the belief that every person is valued and has the capacity to think, change and grow. This shapes how I work.

  • Respect and equality: Everyone is welcome, whatever their background, identity, beliefs or experience. I seek to understand each person on their own terms.

  • Confidentiality: What you share with me stays private, within the limits we agree together and discuss before we begin.

  • Safety and care: Therapy should feel safe, boundaried and respectful. Your wellbeing comes first.

  • Reflective practice: I keep learning through training, supervision and regular reflection on my work.

  • Working within my competence: I’m honest about what I can offer and will help you find other support if I’m not the right fit.

I work in line with the NCPS Ethical Framework and the ethical code of UKATA/EATA.

Feedback & Concerns

If you have a complaint or concern about any aspect of your treatment, please let me know as soon as possible.

Please give me full details and I will treat it seriously, deal with it promptly, and learn from it by reviewing and, if appropriate, improving my standards.

You can make your complaint to me in person, by phone on 07343 069023, or by email at fionaharristherapy@gmail.com.

I will investigate your complaint during the following few days and will aim to:

  1. Find out what happened and what went wrong

  2. Make sure you receive an explanation and an apology if this is appropriate

  3. Identify what I can do to ensure that this problem does not arise again
